About the Assignment

We are looking for an experienced Information Architect for an assignment within a government agency, where you will become a central part of the virtual architecture function.

  • Scope: Full-time (100%)
  • Assignment Period: May 4, 2026 – December 18, 2026
  • Location: Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Norrköping
  • Remote Work: Possible up to 49% upon agreement

About the Role

The role is located within the Strategy and Information Governance section and is part of an established architecture function led by chief architects. You will work closely with several architecture roles and have broad interfaces both internally and externally.

You will play a central role in building and maintaining the agency's information architecture. Initially, you will have coordination responsibilities together with the chief architects to develop and establish target architecture, ensuring that information is handled as a strategic asset. The role also includes ongoing knowledge transfer to other information architects.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Your main tasks include:

  • Ensuring that information architecture and central models are developed and maintained according to standards
  • Developing and maintaining information models (as-is and to-be)
  • Identifying and coordinating needs for information mapping
  • Supporting the business in the application of information models
  • Guiding and training relevant roles in the development work
  • Conducting analyses and preparing decision support materials
  • Collaborating with other architecture roles to ensure a cohesive architecture

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Relevant higher education (minimum 120 ECTS) in fields such as systems science, informatics, or engineering
  • At least 4 years of experience in information and/or business architecture
  • Experience in information, conceptual, or data modeling (e.g., ArchiMate, UML, IRM)
  • Experience working in EA tools (e.g., Sparx EA, Aris Connect, or similar)
  • CV in Swedish

Merits:

  • Certification in information or business architecture
  • Experience establishing target architecture in the public sector
  • Experience with architectural frameworks, e.g., TOGAF
  • Experience in information management from legal, business, and digitalization perspectives
  • Experience in project work with the ability to drive work independently
  • Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing

Competency Level

Level 3 implies that you have high competence in the field and serve as a role model for others. You can take responsibility for sub-areas, lead small groups, and work independently. This usually corresponds to approximately 4–8 years of experience in the role.
