Vittra Lambohov was founded in the autumn of 2002 in central Lambohov. Today, we have approximately 220 children and students from preschool to grade 9, of which about 40 are in preschool. We have over 30 dedicated and well-educated educators working in well-functioning teams.
Job Responsibilities
As a school nurse, your work is primarily health-promoting and preventive. The overarching goal is to ensure that all students have the opportunity to meet the approved knowledge requirements in school. As a school nurse, you are part of the school's consolidated student health services and collaborate closely with the school doctor, special education teacher, psychologist, counselor, and principal. The consolidated student health services aim to support students' development towards educational goals.
The role includes standard school nurse duties that are essential parts of the work described above.
Health visits and the open reception are important parts of ensuring that every student receives the support they need in school. Other responsibilities include vaccinations according to the general vaccination program.
Qualifications
You must be a licensed nurse and have specialized training in healthcare for children and adolescents or open healthcare. Previous experience working with children and adolescents, as well as experience as a school nurse, is considered an asset. The job requires good computer skills.
As a person, you should be structured and meticulous, enjoy working in cross-professional teams, and have an entrepreneurial spirit. You thrive on creating and taking initiative. You have a strong drive for health-promoting work, creating a positive, tolerant, and safe school environment, and continuously working together to build good relationships in all directions.
Employment Terms
The position is permanent at 50% with a 6-month probation period. This is a holiday cover position. Start date is August 11, 2026, subject to agreement. The application deadline is June 12, 2026. The position may be filled before the application period ends.
