About American High School, Stockholm - Essingen

• In the autumn, the school enters its 6th academic year.
• The school has approximately 600 students studying on the Natural Science and Technology program, the Economics program, or the Social Science program.

About the role

As a teacher, you will teach our students in mathematics and physics, or alternatively in one of these subjects. You will be responsible for planning, conducting, assessing, and evaluating your own teaching. You are expected to lead lessons based on our pedagogical structure, for which you will receive guidance. You will teach in a digital environment using digital learning materials in combination with traditional literature. The teaching is conducted in both Swedish and English.

Mentorship for a class is also included in the position.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, starting with a 6-month probation period. Start date August 3, 2026.

Your profile

For this position, it is a requirement that you hold a Swedish teaching license with eligibility to teach mathematics and/or physics. It is also meritorious if you have experience teaching at the upper secondary level. You have a strong commitment to teaching and want to develop the operations together with a strong team of colleagues, and you share our pedagogical view:
