About the Position
Our client, Limako AB, is a family-owned Swedish technology and consulting company specializing in industrial technology and product development. Located in Falun, Dalarna, the company primarily focuses on the design, development, and manufacturing of mechanical products for industry and vehicles. Their activities are centered on product development, operating their own workshop to handle everything from prototype manufacturing to finished products. Limako assists customers at every stage of their process to develop competitive products—from the idea stage to production. This occurs both in larger projects delivering comprehensive solutions and as individual smaller assignments. With a well-equipped workshop, they can assist their customers with both the manufacturing and assembly of simple prototypes and series production.
They are currently in an exciting growth phase and are ready to welcome their new colleague. We are looking for someone studying to become a mechanical engineer or production technician with a genuine interest in technical problem-solving and machine design. The position is part-time, approximately 2 days/week, allowing you to combine work with your studies. The ambition is for you to continue working full-time after your graduation, provided the collaboration works well between all parties.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include assisting with drafting work in a CAD environment, simpler design tasks, and practical work in their workshop. You will have close contact with mentors and the opportunity to gradually take on various tasks and areas of responsibility. Furthermore, you will work on creating instructions and documentation.
We are looking for someone who
- Is studying a post-secondary technical education at a minimum of 50%.
- Has a good technical understanding and a genuine, curious interest in mechanical engineering and the company's operations.
- Expresses themselves well in both speech and writing in Swedish and has a good understanding of English, as the tasks require it.
- Has a B-class driver's license.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Previous experience working with CAD.
- Work experience in production technology or other workshop work.
