About the Workplace

The rehabilitation unit has been in operation since the launch of the "Vårdval Rehab" (Rehab Care Choice) program and has adapted its staffing to meet increased demand.

The rehabilitation clinic is part of Centrumpraktiken, a primary care center within Praktikertjänst serving approximately 15,000 registered patients. In addition to medical and nursing clinics, the center includes a child health care center (BVC), a vaccination clinic, and a counseling clinic with a rehabilitation coordinator. The clinic is located in central Kungälv and is easily accessible by both car and bus. The travel time from central Gothenburg is approximately 25–30 minutes.

Responsibilities

We operate within the Rehab Care Choice program and treat patients of all ages. As a physiotherapist with us, you will have a varied role involving functional assessments, counseling, home visits, and preventive and rehabilitative interventions. Work is conducted both individually and in groups, including supervised training, group activities, and education.

Our services include, among others, osteoarthritis schools, medical yoga, pain management schools, and COPD schools.

The rehabilitation clinic currently consists of 3 occupational therapists and 5 physiotherapists. We are now seeking a physiotherapist for a long-term parental leave substitute position, with good opportunities for extension and potential permanent employment.

We are in a phase of development and expansion and welcome you to our newly renovated, modern facilities, which are ready this spring. They are designed to create a pleasant working environment and provide the best possible conditions for both patients and staff.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist. Experience in primary care and working with common patient groups is an asset.

Special interest in and/or experience with COPD or treatment of children and adolescents is considered an advantage.

Additional Information

The position is a substitute role with good chances for extension. The employment level is 100% but can be discussed based on specific needs. The start date is negotiable. Recruitment is ongoing.
