We offer you a flexible employment within our staffing unit where you are booked for work on various wards with needs for short- and long-term substitutes, day/evening/night shifts. The work involves a rotating position when short-term absences occur at the hospital, giving you great opportunities for professional development.

About you

As a person, you are engaged and trustworthy with good social skills. You have at least 2 years of experience working in a hospital.

We place great importance on the ability to communicate and collaborate with people. Working within the Staffing Unit places high demands on your flexibility regarding tasks and workplaces.

Your future workplace

The mission of the Staffing Unit is to cover short-term absences and work peaks for Kalmar County Hospital and primary care in southern Kalmar County, including Öland. Through good customer relationships and systematic dialogues, we take the employees' competencies into account when customer needs arise.

In total, just over 35 employees work at the Staffing Unit, including nurses, assistant nurses, and medical secretaries.

Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an acute care hospital with specialist care, maternity care, and a neonatal unit. Here, just over 2,300 people work to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's residents. Our employees' constant development work ensures that we achieve good results in several different national measurements. The hospital is located near Kalmar city center and Kalmarsund.
