The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Production Technician with a clear focus on electrical safety and testing for our Production Technology Department at High Voltage Breakers. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in technology and experience working with electricity or testing. If you are passionate about ensuring safe and efficient processes within electrical safety and testing, this is the role for you! As the Area Responsible Technician for our test rooms, you will be responsible for operational management, safety, quality, and high availability in our processes. You will also continuously work on improvements related to the production environment in our test rooms.

Within the department, we are responsible for operational and strategic actions, initiatives, and improvements related to production, quality, working environment, and capacity. We work closely with our production teams to create safe, stable, and efficient processes – both in the short and long term.

In this role, you will have a varied and independent job where you work on developing routines and processes within electrical safety and testing in general. You will drive smaller investment and improvement projects, as well as contribute your specialist knowledge to larger projects and during the implementation of new equipment.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Support production in operational and strategic matters within electrical safety and testing, including risk assessments and safety routines.
• Work on the development and improvement of work methods and processes related to the testing process.
• Lead smaller investment and improvement projects and ensure high plant availability at the right cost.
• Contribute technical expertise to larger projects and during the introduction of new equipment.
• Prepare requirement specifications, technical documentation, and decision-making material.
• Plan and follow up on the installation of machines and equipment, including control of documentation and safety requirements.

Your Background

• You are a structured and driven team player with good communication skills and a genuine interest in technology and safety.
• Engineering degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience working in electrical safety as an electrical operations manager or electrical safety manager is highly advantageous.
• Experience in electrical, control, and regulation technology is an asset.
• Knowledge or experience in testing high-voltage products is desirable.
• Fluent Swedish and English in both spoken and written form are required.
