As a consultant in system development, you will work on technically demanding tasks in modern as well as complex and sometimes unexpected environments, tailored to your focus and experience, for example:

• Backend Development: Design and implementation of robust services and APIs in production environments. You write code that stands the test of time, scales, and is maintainable.

• Fullstack Development: Working across the entire stack with a focus on quality and technical correctness rather than breadth for breadth's sake.

• System Architecture & Integration: You design and take ownership of technical solutions in complex environments – with an understanding of how individual components affect the whole, and how decisions made today impact the system tomorrow.

Assignments may vary in nature – some clients work in modern cloud-based environments, others in established legacy systems or mainframe environments. We see it as a strength to thrive in both worlds and to be able to dive into and work with systems regardless of age or architecture.

The role is operational and technically focused – you deliver high-quality code and well-founded architectural solutions.

We are looking for someone with solid, practical experience in system development in professional environments, who enjoys going deep technically rather than wide. Perhaps you have a passion for solving problems that others find complicated, or a genuine interest in how older systems actually work under the hood.

To be considered for the role, you need:

• Experience in system development in production environments

• Practical experience in system architecture – designing, evaluating, and taking responsibility for technical solutions at the system level

• Deep knowledge of several modern languages, e.g., Java, C#, Python, TypeScript, or SQL

• Deep knowledge of using modern development tools and workflows – CI/CD, version control, containerization (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes)

• Experience with cloud environments, e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Experience using version control tools, such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar

• Good understanding of testing, code quality, and maintainable architecture

• You want to work in the role of a consultant

• A diagnosis within the autism spectrum

• Proficiency in Swedish and English

• Higher education in STEM, computer science, computer engineering, or another relevant field

• Experience working with or integrating AI tools and LLMs in development environments

• Developing AI solutions

• Comfortable working in mainframe environments or similar unique and unusual technical environments

• Ability to understand and maintain systems built on older technologies and architectures

• Experience with highly loaded systems or environments with high availability requirements

• Experience with Linux

• Domain knowledge in banking, finance, insurance, or energy
