Nordion Energi is a leading gas network company in Sweden working to enable the energy systems of the future. With us, you step straight into the heart of the energy transition. As a Business Analyst, you will work at the intersection of technology, market, and sustainability, transforming complex data into insights that influence investments, pricing, and the development of Sweden's gas networks for natural gas, biogas, and hydrogen.
About the role One of our skilled Business Analysts will be going on parental leave, and we are looking for someone to take over on a fixed-term contract from May 1, 2026, to February 1, 2027. As a Business Analyst, you will become part of our business analysis team and work closely with technology, market, and development groups. This role is perfect for someone who wants to understand energy markets, work in a data-driven manner, and transform complex information into clear insights. Here, you will gain experience in a future-oriented industry, surrounded by experienced analysts and other experts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market analyses within energy, gas, and fuel markets.
- Build and develop analysis models in Excel or internal cloud-based tools.
- Support analysis and development projects, including tariff, volume, and investment underpinnings.
- Prepare materials for management and internal working groups.
- Contribute new perspectives on how we can optimize our models, analyses, and processes.
Who are you? We are looking for someone who:
- Has studied a technical education (e.g., industrial economics, energy systems, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, surveying, technical physics) or economics/financial analysis/management.
- Enjoys both qualitative and quantitative analysis and has good skills in Excel.
- Is interested in energy, markets, sustainability, or technology.
- Is structured, curious, and self-driven.
- Has a willingness to learn and contribute to a company at the forefront of the energy transition.
- Is fluent in Swedish and English.
If you have a few years of experience entering the role, we prefer that you have worked in similar analyst roles, preferably within a regulated business where you are accustomed to handling and analyzing large data sets. Experience with programming or working with more advanced analysis tools is an asset. We require you to be available for a relatively immediate start.
Application We are conducting a continuous selection process, which means the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Therefore, we hope you apply for the position as soon as possible. We look forward to receiving your application!
