ChopChop Barkaby is hiring a Kitchen Assistant – a new star for the kitchen! 🍜🔥 We plan to open in June and are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new things, and being part of a high-tempo team full of laughter. Perfect! We are now seeking a Kitchen Assistant for a full-time position (100%) – starting as soon as possible!
What will you do with us?
At ChopChop, you will work in the kitchen and assist wherever needed.
You will prepare ingredients – chopping vegetables, meat, and more (we prefer candidates with knife skills).
You will work either with sushi (cold kitchen) or in the hot kitchen with wok and Asian dishes.
You will assist with cooking, dishwashing, and maintaining kitchen order.
You will receive deliveries and ensure everything is clean and tidy.
You will work alongside a team where everyone helps each other.
Who are you? 🎯
You have previous restaurant experience.
You enjoy cooking and want to improve your kitchen skills.
You have basic knife skills and work quickly but carefully.
You thrive in a high-tempo environment and enjoy team work.
