Wasasten of Sweden is looking for new colleagues.

Wasasten of Sweden is a stone quarrying company that has been quarrying Älvdalen Quartzite since the late 19th century.

We both quarry blocks and produce finished products such as countertops, gravestones, slabs, paving stones, facades, cobblestones, walls, flooring, stair steps, and various artistic projects. We work extensively with our own stone but also with other stone types from Sweden and around the world. Our customers are both private and public, locally within the Nordic region, but we also export to Japan, the USA, Canada, and the rest of Europe. Currently, we have 3 people working in production and wish to expand to 4–5.

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a team where you work both independently and in collaboration with other colleagues. You will work with large and heavy machinery. Experience with operating loaders and forklifts is an advantage but not a requirement; the most important thing is that you are willing to learn. A big plus if you have an interest in machinery and materials.

You should have good physical fitness and a driver's license. We have the factory and quarry in Mångsbodarna, and using public transport is impossible.
