Unika Gregevatan is a group home with 5 apartments located in central Tierp, just a 2-minute walk from Tierp train station.

The residence is intended for individuals with an LSS decision for group housing within target groups 1, 2, or 3.

As a support assistant, you will provide individually tailored support to people with functional variations, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support users in their daily routines and activities based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, starting from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal interaction to create security and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget.

You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and able to maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills, relate to others in an attentive manner, and enjoy working together with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Good computer skills and experience with documentation.

• Experience working within healthcare and social care.

• Secondary education, e.g., Child and Leisure Program, Health and Social Care Program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or university education in a relevant field.

• Experience with psychiatry, AKK (Assessment of Communication and Knowledge), and low-arousal interaction.

• Experience working with complex support needs.

• Driver's license.

Employment Type: Probationary/Permanent. Employment Level: 60-86%. Working Hours: Day, evening, weekend. We have sleeping on-call duties. Start Date: By agreement; we view early start dates positively. Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Industry E.
