Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer for a long-term consulting assignment in Linköping. This role is ideal for someone who wants to work operationally with testing while also contributing to the development of working methods, quality, and structure within the testing domain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and further refine goals, strategies, and guidelines within testing
• Identify and implement improved working methods
• Conduct environmental scanning related to testing and quality assurance
• Perform requirement analysis and develop test specifications and methodologies
• Ensure tests meet requirements and are properly anchored
• Plan, execute, and follow up on testing activities in close collaboration with project teams
• Create, maintain, and improve documentation and instructions
• Monitor goals and report status in relevant systems
• Lead and participate in meetings related to the assignment
• Handle changes, risks, and new conditions
• Act as support to colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in testing or test engineering
• Experience in requirement analysis, test design, and test methodology
• Ability to work in a structured manner with documentation and processes
• Experience working in project teams and collaborating with various stakeholders
• Strong ability to plan, follow up, and report on work
• Experience in improvement work and developing working methods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in method development within testing
• Experience working in complex organizations
• Experience in test management or coordination
