On behalf of the government, the Swedish National Property Board (SFV) manages our shared natural and cultural heritage. We manage a wide variety of state-owned properties, including government buildings, courts, castles and royal estates, theatres, museums, embassies, and one-seventh of the country's area consisting of forests and land.

The Project and Technology Department has overall responsibility for developing SFV's property management mandate and role as a client. You will belong to the technology unit responsible for steering, coordination, development, and advisory work regarding property technology, fire safety, energy work, automation, as well as the development and management of digital support for property management. The unit is also responsible for coordination, follow-up, and reporting regarding energy work and SFV's joint operations center.

Your Role

A Strategic Operations Coordinator within property management is responsible for developing, coordinating, and optimizing the organization's operational processes. The role is central to creating long-term sustainable, efficient, and quality-assured working methods for property operations. The focus is on analyzing needs, driving improvement initiatives, developing routines, and ensuring that the operations strategy supports the organization's goals. Your role serves as a link between management, technology, and leadership.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve operational processes, routines, and working methods to increase efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
  • Analyze operational data, key figures, and deviations to identify areas for improvement and propose strategic measures.
  • Ensure that the operational process is up-to-date, anchored, and followed within the organization.
  • Participate in development projects within property technology, digitalization, operations and energy optimization, and process improvement.
  • Support operational management in the application of method support, guidelines, and decision-making materials.
  • Follow up and develop cooperation with contractors and suppliers, including contract follow-up and quality control.
  • Contribute to strategic procurement and ensure that the operational perspective is integrated into requirement specifications and contracts.
  • Ensure that operational processes meet regulatory requirements, internal policies, and sustainability goals.
  • Act as a unifying force for several working groups within the organization's operational work.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant education in property technology, energy, operations, HVAC, electrical engineering, control systems, or equivalent competence.
  • At least ten years of experience in practical property operations.
  • At least five years of experience in coordination or development work in a leading role within property operations.
  • Experience in specifying requirements when purchasing services necessary for the organization's operational work and when drafting contracts for "purchased operations".
  • Familiarity with common system support for operational work.
  • Experience working with property technical systems, such as SCADA systems, energy monitoring systems, calculation models, or similar.
  • Current experience in applying contract law related to the purchase of services and contracts linked to the operations area.
  • Knowledge and experience in creating routines, processes, and governing documentation.
  • Good ability and experience in creating presentations and reports, as well as presenting orally in Swedish.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Class B driver's license.

Position Title: Operations Coordinator

Employment Type: Permanent full-time position. SFV applies a six-month probation period.

Location: Stockholm. Business travel is common.

Start Date: According to agreement.

Remote Work Opportunity: Yes, there is an opportunity to work part of the working hours remotely.

Before a decision on employment is made, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may be carried out.
