Your Responsibilities

In Siemens Energy's new workshop, turbine components are manufactured and repaired using both additive and conventional production methods. After several years of developing processes and methods within additive manufacturing, the operation has now moved into serial production and repair based on Selective Laser Melting (SLM), often called 3D printing. The department currently consists of approximately 47 people and is in an expansive and development-intensive phase.

Several new products from various Siemens sites are being introduced into production, and therefore we are now looking for a Controller/Operator within 3D scanning.

The role involves working with technically advanced components manufactured in modern machines, both in small and large series with high variation. The work also includes contributing to the development and improvement of methods and processes.

Examples of responsibilities:

  • 3D GOM scanning and programming

  • Blueprint reading

  • Inspection of form and position tolerances

  • Manual measurement and visual inspection of components

  • Documentation management

  • Deviation management

  • Participation in project work

  • Process development

  • Proactive improvement work

The assignment is located in a 2-shift schedule.

Your Profile

We expect you as an applicant to have...

  • Education and experience in 3D scanning and/or CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)

  • Experience in blueprint reading as well as form and position tolerances (requirement)

  • Good computer skills

  • Experience in deviation management is an asset

  • Forklift and overhead crane licenses are an asset

  • Fluent language skills in Swedish and English (spoken and written)

Accuracy, a structured working method, and good teamwork skills are important qualities. The role also requires understanding and a natural focus on improvement work and teamwork.
