Dizparc Umeå is now looking for a BI Consultant who wants to take a clear advisory role and help turn data into a real decision-support tool. This is a role for you who thrive at the intersection of business, analysis, and technology, and who wants to help our customers find the right path forward in their data-driven work.

About the Role

As a BI Consultant with us, you will work closely with our customers to understand their goals, challenges, and decision-making needs – and translate these into sustainable analyses, structures, and ways of working. You will often be involved early in the dialogue, helping the customer define what is important to steer and why.

In this role, you will, among other things:

• Act as a strategic advisor in analysis, follow-up, and data-driven steering
• Help customers identify the right key figures, metrics, and analysis needs
• Lead and execute BI projects from needs analysis to finished solution
• Design analysis models, semantic layers, and decision-support tools that are actually used
• Work closely with operations, management teams, and clients – not just IT
• Contribute to developing our offerings and our position within BI and Analytics
• Share knowledge and experience internally and support colleagues in client dialogues

Technically, we primarily work with Microsoft's Data & AI platform, such as Power BI, Azure Data Platform, and preferably Fabric or Databricks – but technology is a means, not the end.

Who are you?

We believe you have several years of experience in BI and analysis and that you are confident in dialogue with the business. You have the ability to look at the big picture – how data can actually contribute to better decisions, priorities, and results.

You:

• Have worked with BI, analysis, or data platforms
• Are used to working in an advisory and business-close capacity
• Understand business processes and how data can support steering and follow-up
• Can translate business needs into analysis, models, and solutions
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have experience of:

• working with management support, follow-up models, or business steering
• architecture or strategy for decision support and data platforms
• industry, energy, or other complex operations
