Responsibilities

As a Senior System Developer within our Planning Models and Systems unit, you will join an established team driving current and future development, with significant opportunities to influence outcomes. In this role, you will primarily work on design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation within IT system projects and/or maintenance. We typically work with technologies such as .NET, C#, and SQL, with assignments varying between development projects and maintenance tasks.

The work is characterized by collaboration and agile methodologies, where we continuously learn to improve. As a Senior System Developer, you play a crucial role in ensuring the development team performs at its best.

You will also:

• Write maintainable code for systems used daily by a large number of users
• Maintain open dialogue with operational units and external stakeholders
• Identify and implement improvements in both existing and upcoming systems
• Work on automation of testing and deployment processes

As a Senior System Developer, coaching and mentoring are a natural part of your daily routine within the development team.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university or college degree in IT or engineering of at least 180 ECTS credits (120 Swedish credits). Alternatively, other education combined with relevant recent work experience that we deem equivalent.
• Extensive recent experience in system development with knowledge of .Net, C#, and SQL.
• Several years of current and relevant work experience in system development across the entire chain; requirements, design, programming, testing, and deployment.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Worked in a more leading role in a development team, e.g., team lead, lead developer.
• Practical experience with deployment automation and/or test automation.
• Practical experience with container technology, e.g., Kubernetes, Redhat OpenShift.
• Relevant and current experience in software architecture.
• Practical experience with ALM tools, e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar.
• Experience with the agile framework SAFe.
