We are currently looking for a Production Controller who wants to work closely with operations and help develop our production, follow-up processes, and profitability. In this role, you will work closely with the Production Manager and senior management, responsible for economic follow-up, analysis, and decision support related to production.

This is a role for you who wants to combine finance, analysis, and operational understanding.

About the Role

As a Production Controller, you are responsible for monitoring and analyzing production results, costs, and efficiency. You will work with product costing, standard costs, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs), serving as a support to the organization on issues regarding profitability, investments, and improvement work.

You will work both operationally and analytically, playing a key role in the company's budgeting and forecasting related to production.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring production costs and margins
• Standard costs and post-costing
• Variance analysis (price, volume, mix, efficiency)
• Monitoring OEE, productivity, and scrap rates
• Inventory monitoring and capital tie-up
• Investment calculations and profitability assessments
• Budgeting and forecasting for production
• Development of KPIs and dashboards
• Support to the Production Manager and management on financial matters
• Improvement work and efficiency projects

Who We Are Looking For

• Have a degree in Economics or equivalent experience
• Have experience from manufacturing companies or production operations
• Have excellent skills in Excel
• Have experience with ERP systems and preferably BI tools
• Have a good understanding of cost accounting and product costing
• Are analytical, structured, and operationally focused
• Enjoy working closely with production

Reporting

The role reports to the CFO/Finance Manager and works closely with the Production Manager.

About Our Client:

The company operates in the manufacturing and trade of games, toys, and craft materials, producing creative products sold both in Sweden and internationally. Products include craft materials for all ages, sold in smaller packages to retailers and in larger volumes to schools and distributors.

• Start: As soon as possible after agreement

You will start as a consultant with us at Jefferson Wells (Manpower Group) and work on-site at our client in Älmhult, with the goal of transitioning to a permanent position with our client in the future.
