Fjällenskolan - A solid foundation for the future
We are a school offering education from preschool class to grade 9, located in Viksjö in a residential area. The school has approximately 760 students. We work in teams to ensure close collaboration regarding our students' development, both social and academic. Since 2011, we have utilized digital tools in various ways; for instance, we have Smartboards installed in classrooms for grades F-3, and students in grades 4-9 have their own laptops.
We aim to leverage the fact that we have students aged six to fifteen by organizing joint theme days for the entire school where older students work together with younger children/students. Another part of utilizing the entire operation's knowledge and experience is our joint pedagogical leadership group with representatives from each operational area, aimed at driving and anchoring school development.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for you who are a strong leader in the classroom and wish to give students a secure and stimulating start on their educational journey. You should be professionally competent, engaged, responsible, and a reassuring person.
Your assignment includes planning and conducting instruction in all subjects with a clear focus on early language, reading, and writing acquisition. You adapt instruction through differentiated methods to meet each student's needs and continuously monitor their development using your strong assessment competence. Together with other educators in the team, you are responsible for creating and developing a safe and secure environment that attracts and challenges students to activity, learning, and responsibility. You wish to contribute to pedagogical development, utilizing current research and implementing it in your work. You plan and follow up on instruction, analyze, and assess the results.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed teacher with a specialization in grades 4-6
- Extensive knowledge and experience in early language, reading, and writing acquisition
- Ability to conduct differentiated instruction and possess strong assessment competence
- Independent and strong leader in the classroom
- Ability to see the big picture and collaborate with both after-school centers and the school's student health services
- Ability to take responsibility for the entire assignment and drive students' development forward, both academically and socially
Must be a licensed teacher for grades 4-6
