Fornbacka School is a two-parallel Grade 1-6 school with approximately 340 students and 80 staff members. We are a primary school and an adapted primary school, which also includes a department for students with physical disabilities. The school also has its own special education group and a municipality-wide special education group. Fornbacka School is a multicultural school located in the middle of a residential area where most of our students live.

At Fornbacka School, we work based on a language and knowledge-developing approach. Here, the importance of communication and interaction is central. Teachers use cooperative support structures to encourage students to communicate and use language actively. The focus is also on strengthening students' reading skills by systematically training decoding and language comprehension.

With the help of an accessible learning environment, we ensure that all students have a positive learning experience and the opportunity to reach their full potential.

In the classrooms, there is access to interactive whiteboards and tablets. All tablets are equipped with the programs available in Skolon, the municipality's common digital platform.

We strive to make our outdoor environment appealing. We believe in an active break where students and staff have the opportunity to socialize in various forms, where playfulness and creativity are at the center. We are part of the "Trivselprogrammet" (Well-being Program), a program for activity and inclusion, where friendly and respectful well-being leaders in grades 3-6 create opportunities for increased activity during breaks.

Your Tasks

Fornbacka School is looking for a craft teacher (Slöjd) for grades 3-6. You will be responsible for planning, implementation, follow-up, and assessment of students' knowledge development in crafts.
