The Eating Disorders Clinic is an age- and county-wide operation within Specialist Psychiatry. The clinic's mission is to provide assessment and treatment for patients with various types of eating disorders. Our work also includes consultative services and collaboration with healthcare partners such as psychiatric clinics, primary care, school health services, and social authorities. The clinic employs a chief physician, three nurses, four psychologists, four social workers, a treatment educator, an occupational therapist, a dietitian, and a medical care administrator. The clinic is organizationally divided into two teams: one working with patients under 18 and their families, and one receiving adult patients. Several staff members work in both teams.

Our clinic offers several evidence-based psychological treatment methods, primarily family-based treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy, and interpersonal psychotherapy in outpatient and day-care forms, both as individual treatment and in groups. Our operation regularly participates in clinical research studies. We continuously drive development issues to be able to offer our patients good treatment and effective, patient-safe care. Working as a therapist with us involves close collaboration between several levels of care and healthcare partners, and often several colleagues work together during the care process. Each employee plans their own workdays to a large extent. As a new employee, you are supported by a mentor and receive a thorough internal introduction focusing on knowledge about eating disorders and learning the skills needed to provide qualified treatment to our patients. Supervision and further education in current psychotherapeutic methods are offered continuously in group form.

Job Responsibilities
As a nurse with us, you will work with both psychiatric assessment work and psychological treatment work, primarily towards children and young people and their families, but also adult patients. A work week is varied and can consist of psychiatric nursing, for example in the form of somatic assessments, collaboration with healthcare partners, psycho-educational work in our day care, and talk therapy in various forms. You will learn family-based therapy and eating disorder-adapted cognitive behavioral therapy. You will contribute to the team based on your competence and participate in the clinic's development work.

Qualifications
Licensed nurse. Experience of psychiatric treatment work, especially with young people and their families, is desirable. If you are trained as a psychiatric nurse and/or have further education in psychotherapy, e.g., basic psychotherapy training, this is an asset. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Collaboration skills, professional treatment, flexibility, and clarity are qualities we value highly.
