About the Position
As a nurse at Rostahemmet, you will be part of a team consisting of nurses, occupational therapists, care staff, doctors, physiotherapists, and unit managers. We focus on somatic care and cognitive impairment. In the evenings and weekends, you will also collaborate with other special accommodations, giving you a larger network of nursing colleagues. We work to create safety and a meaningful everyday life for our residents.

Examples of Responsibilities:
- decide, implement, and follow up on nursing measures
- guide and instruct care staff in health and medical tasks
- be responsible for clinical assessments and the execution of medical interventions
- maintain contact and provide support to relatives
- document in our operational systems to ensure safe care for our patients
- develop working methods and approaches within our operations together with the rest of the team
About the Workplace
Rostahemmet is located in the west of Örebro, equally close to the central parts of the city and the beautiful nature and cultural areas along the banks of Svartån. Rostahemmet is a care and nursing home focusing on somatic care and cognitive impairment. The facility has 92 rental apartments divided into 10 departments. Read more at: Rostahemmet - orebro.se.
As a nurse at Rostahemmet, you will be part of the Health and Medical Care Organization (HS). All nurses and occupational therapists within the municipality's special accommodations work under the same organization to create better conditions, equitable care, and to safeguard Örebro Municipality's health and medical resources. For you as a nurse, this also means you will have a manager who is a licensed professional and is well-versed in the issues you face in your work.

Qualifications
As a nurse, you are self-assured and have good self-awareness. You enjoy having your own areas of responsibility and take charge of your tasks in an independent and structured manner. Being attentive and accommodating in your interactions with colleagues and residents/customers/patients is a given for you. You communicate clearly and can ensure that information is conveyed effectively. Additionally, you adapt easily to changing circumstances and see opportunities and solutions in the challenges you face. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language well enough to communicate with residents/customers/patients and other staff, as well as document what the operation requires. Since the work involves digital documentation in operational systems, good computer skills are required.

Requirements:
- licensed nurse
- valid driver's license (B)
Meritorious:
- experience working as a nurse
- experience caring for individuals with cognitive impairment
- knowledge and experience working with documentation and operational systems

Start date: by agreement

Working hours: primarily daytime, evenings and weekends may occur
