We are looking for someone with an interest in infectious diseases and emergency care, who wants to be part of highly specialized advanced healthcare. The Infection Unit has outpatient services, wards, needle exchange, and admissions directly from the emergency department. You will meet patients with severe infectious diseases such as Endocarditis, Sepsis, Meningitis, Pneumonia, and Tuberculosis. This also means that you will encounter patients in various challenging situations. We work in teams, which means you will collaborate with several other professional categories. You will become an important part of the team where we help each other.

The Infection Clinic is in a significant phase of development and establishment, and we therefore need you with drive and commitment, preferably with experience! You should have a good ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with others. We have short decision-making paths, and there are opportunities to influence and develop in your work.

Nurses for the Infection Unit, USÖ

The position involves ward work in the infection department. We provide highly specialized care that requires specialized knowledge as well as basic infectious disease care. We offer professional development, including in-depth interest in specific infectious diseases. We provide an individually tailored introduction and onboarding in consultation with the manager and supervisor, adapted to your skills and previous experiences.

As we operate 24/7, evening and weekend shifts are required. There is also the possibility to work night shifts.

Licensed nurse. Experience from similar work is advantageous, as is multilingualism. Experience in outpatient work is also an asset. We place great importance on qualities such as teamwork and initiative, as well as a sense of responsibility. It is an advantage if you have a holistic perspective while also considering the individual patient's issues. This is to provide good care.
