About the AssignmentYou will be part of a project office responsible for planning, documenting, and executing investment projects related to the renovation and expansion of technical facilities. The assignments are carried out in close collaboration with the business and encompass the entire chain from early investigations to completed and operational facilities.
The role suits you who thrive in complex technical environments where you combine structure, business acumen, and clear leadership. You will have broad responsibility for project goals, finances, timelines, risks, procurement, and follow-up, while working closely with consultants, suppliers, and contractors. Here you will have the opportunity to influence both the execution of individual projects and how project work is conducted within the organization.
Responsibilities- Lead projects through feasibility studies, design, execution, commissioning, and handover to facility owners.
- Ensure that project goals and effect goals are achieved.
- Prepare cost estimates and follow up on project finances, timelines, resource consumption, and risks.
- Procure resources, materials, equipment, consultants, and contracts according to LOU.
- Lead and be the contact person for consultants, suppliers, and contractors throughout the project.
- Follow up on contracts, contractual requirements, and prescribed measures to achieve agreed goals.
- Plan, lead, and document project meetings, design meetings, technical meetings, construction meetings, as well as start and end meetings.
- Report project plans, status, progress, finances, and risks to the steering group and department manager.
- Be responsible for the construction work environment and, when applicable, manage responsibilities related to BAS-P and ensure that BAS-U is appointed with the right competence.
- Manage project and facility documentation according to assignment and project manuals.
- Civil engineer or Bachelor of Engineering with a completed degree in Road and Water Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction & Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
- At least 5 years of documented experience as a Project Manager for complex industrial projects, from design to commissioning.
- Practical experience in procurement and requirements specification within the framework of LOU.
- Practical experience with standard agreements for construction contracts such as AB04, ABT06, and ABK09.
- Applicable practical experience in construction law and good habits in specifying requirements, documenting, and interpreting legal aspects, agreements, and contracts.
- Applicable practical experience in administrative regulations - AMA AF.
- Knowledge, experience, and ability to interpret construction technical drawings, detailed plans, and 2D/3D CAD drawings.
- Very good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Very good language skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Very good computer skills in the Office package.
- Driving license B.
- Experience with very large facility and infrastructure projects.
- Experience leading larger projects within water and sewage, construction and civil engineering, road and water construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure.
- Experience leading projects that involve multiple disciplines, such as Construction, V/A, HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, IT, and Automation.
- Certification as a project manager.
- Permanent employment with Avaron AB
- Pension plan (4.5% up to 7.5 IBB and 30% on salary above that)
