Vasahemmet is a nursing home located in central Gothenburg. We have been here for over 50 years and have a wonderful atmosphere.

Here, 51 elderly people live across five floors. One of the units is for individuals with dementia. The other floors provide somatic elderly care. We have our own kitchen that serves well-prepared traditional meals and we also have our own laundry.

Vasahemmet is a private, non-profit nursing home operated with a Christian value base. The Salvation Mission is our main organization.

We are now offering a 1-year full-time temporary position. We are looking for a nurse who is attracted by the idea of working in a meaningful, important, and pleasant job at a well-functioning nursing home with a very good reputation.

As a nurse, you play an important role at Vasahemmet. Your tasks consist of nursing work in collaboration with your closest colleague and our medically responsible nurse. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday. In your work, you will also collaborate with nursing assistants, administration, and kitchen staff. It is a varied and stimulating job. Among the tasks are medication responsibility, specific care responsibility, and health care interventions.

Our common task at Vasahemmet is to offer a meaningful and dignified existence with the best possible well-being for our residents.

You, as an applicant, should have a genuine interest in working with elderly people. A nursing degree is a requirement. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. The start date is August 17 or by agreement.
