We work with authority exercise, assessed assistance measures, but also with preventive and advisory measures to reach people early.

Our organization has transitioned to a first-line social service with a single entry point for citizens, meaning that all cases are initially handled by a common reception unit. After that, investigations and further measures are carried out in a second line. This approach aims to make social services more accessible and efficient for everyone who needs support. Collaboration is a central part of our working method as we see the importance of supporting each other to achieve the best possible results for those we are here for.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As one of our valued colleagues moves on to new challenges, we are looking for a new team member who wants to grow with us and contribute with their skills and commitment.

As a nursing responsible nurse (OAS), you will plan and lead the nursing work around your patients. You will work in interdisciplinary teams together with the other five nursing colleagues, occupational therapists, adult caseworkers, educational staff, housing support staff, care and support coordinators, and employment personnel.

The role involves close collaboration with internal operations within the social services sector and the health and care sector, but also with external parties such as the psychiatric open and closed care of the Västra Götaland region, Närhälsan, the Social Insurance Agency, the Employment Service, relatives, etc.

Our target group includes individuals with mental disabilities but also individuals with mental disabilities combined with dependency issues.

This is a varied job with good opportunities to be involved in developing the role and function. The workgroup has recurring external supervision during working hours.

Working hours are during the day.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you have a specialist education in psychiatry and/or have supervisor training of 7.5 credits. Experience in the field of substance abuse, LSS, and/or psychiatry, preferably within municipal health and medical care, is also a merit.

For the position, it is required that you can independently perform the tasks included in the role of nursing responsible nurse, but you also need to be interested in and have the ability to work in a team. To thrive in the role, we believe that you are attentive, secure, responsible, and have a coaching approach. We also believe that you are quality-conscious and take responsibility for your own, the organization’s, and your colleagues’ development.

The work includes business trips, which requires you to have a B driver's license.
