The Swedish Transport Administration is responsible for the long-term planning of the transport system for road traffic, rail traffic, shipping, and aviation, as well as for the construction, operation, and maintenance of state roads and railways. The activities of the Swedish Transport Administration are primarily financed by tax revenues, and we work to ensure an accessible and sustainable transport system for all of Sweden.

About the Assignment

As a Maintenance Planner in the Northern region, you will be the coordinator for the region's delivery of the maintenance plan for Infrastructure and Structures. You will be the spider in the web between those who order tasks and those who will perform them, working closely with executing project teams, managers, and clients for actions in the facilities within the Infrastructure and Structures units.

The assignment involves planning and coordinating the maintenance plan, where you receive and interpret instructions, structure the work, and ensure the quality of submitted materials. You will have daily contact with project teams, provide support to managers, and collaborate closely with controllers.

Your tasks will include:

  • Planning and coordinating the maintenance plan
  • Managing existing and upcoming internal orders
  • Reviewing action descriptions and attachments
  • Structuring the work and ensuring the quality of submitted materials while working with continuous follow-up of the maintenance plan. Receiving and interpreting instructions, creating and coordinating needs lists
  • Analyzing and following up on actions/tasks and orders, and providing suggestions for decisions
  • Participating in financial follow-ups
  • Manager support, training, and improvement work

Competence Requirements

The resource consultant must meet the following competence requirements, and compliance must be found in the CV:

  • A university or college degree in economics or a technical field, or equivalent education combined with at least three (3) years of work experience from similar work
  • At least 3 years of work experience regarding follow-up of contract work. The experience must not be older than 5 years from the last application date.
  • Documented experience of having worked in Excel or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
  • At least 3 years of work experience with relevant financial systems (e.g., Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, etc.). The experience must not be older than 5 years from the last application date.
  • At least 1 year of documented experience of having worked with operational follow-up. The experience must not be older than 3 years.

Assignment Information

Assignment period: As soon as possible – 30/9 2027

Extension option: 3 months

Scope: 100%

Location: Luleå, Skellefteå, Umeå, Härnösand, Sundsvall, or Östersund (remote work up to 2 days per week possible)
