Job Description

We need to strengthen our teams in Skellefteå with more experienced and creative employees. Do you have experience in mechanical or piping & plant design? Are you ready to share your expertise? In return, we promise you an innovative arena shared with like-minded colleagues.  
  
With us, you will work on a variety of projects which we believe will provide you with very inspiring and diverse work. The majority of projects are conducted in-house, but we also have projects where you will work on-site with clients. In addition to assignments, we ensure networking and create a pleasant atmosphere together through social and skill-enhancing activities and spontaneous meetings such as group lunches and joint breakfasts. Collaborating and interacting with other business areas at AFRY is a given for us.  
  
As a Piping & Plant Designer with us, you will work on everything from idea and concept development to delivering finished installations to our customers.

Qualifications

We believe you are a person who thrives in collaboration with others and enjoys taking responsibility – both technically and in relation to clients.

We would like you to have:

• A university degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience in Piping & Plant Design, mechanical design, or similar – preferably within the process industry
• Good knowledge of relevant standards and directives
• Experience working in various CAD environments
• Good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B and flexibility for on-site client assignments

Meritorious

• Several years of experience in a similar role
• Experience as a project manager or lead designer
• Established network of clients and suppliers in the region
