Operational Buyer at Health and Sports Nutrition Group

Health and Sports Nutrition Group is looking for an operational buyer who wants to contribute to an efficient and data-driven flow of goods in a growing e-commerce business. The role involves ensuring good product availability in accordance with the company's sales plans, focusing on having the right products in the right quantity at the right time.

About the Role

As an operational buyer, you will work closely with the business and contribute to an efficient and well-functioning product flow. The role includes close collaboration with both strategic purchasing as well as warehouse, goods reception, customer service, suppliers, and finance. The work requires good structure, accuracy, and the ability to work according to established processes and timelines.

You are expected to take independent responsibility for your tasks while actively collaborating with relevant functions and anchoring decisions when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Establish and release purchase orders and make calls from suppliers in accordance with sales forecasts and needs planning
• Follow up on order confirmations and deliveries and ensure correct information flow between suppliers and internal functions
• Manage deviations in the delivery flow, such as delays or backorders, and take necessary actions
• Conduct ongoing monitoring of inventory availability, inventory value, and turnover rate to optimize inventory levels
• Ensure that purchase-related product data is accurate and updated in the business system, in collaboration with relevant functions
• Manage and approve supplier invoices and participate in year-end closing activities

The role is monitored through key performance indicators such as inventory availability, inventory value, and turnover rate.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with previous experience in purchasing work. You have good administrative skills and are accustomed to working in business systems. You will work in an environment where we are developing our system support, including the implementation of PIM. Furthermore, you have a structured and meticulous approach to work and the ability to plan and prioritize your tasks.

You are responsible and have a proactive approach to your work. The role requires good collaboration skills and a well-developed communicative ability, as you will have many points of contact both internally and externally.
