The position is primarily a summer temporary job as we want you to be available to work during June, July, and August, but if you can start earlier, that would be very positive!

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard at our offices in Ådalen, you will become part of a close-knit team. Securitas Ådalen consists of the towns of Kramfors, Sollefteå, and Härnösand, and we would like you to consider combining work at all locations if possible. The length of shifts varies, but they are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. The schedule also includes work on weekends.

As a patrolling guard, you are responsible for performing security checks for several clients during your shift. You will travel between clients by car and conduct various types of inspections, including area surveillance, internal patrols, alarm connections, and closures at clients. In this role, it is important to document your work and any deviations you encounter. The work is independent and often perceived as free, but with a great deal of responsibility. The role of a patrolling guard suits you if you want a job where you can move around. The working hours are mainly at night.

As a stationary guard, you provide security on-site for one of our clients. Depending on which client you are with, the tasks may vary. You may work as a receptionist at a larger company or perform security checks of those entering and exiting, patrolling, alarm management, and video surveillance.

• Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of high school
• Good knowledge of English
• Driver's license B

Preferred if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• are a trained guard with completed VU1 and VU2
• have a civilian or military security guard training
• are a trained security guard with a valid security guard permit

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you, as a candidate, are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and meticulous approach with an eye for detail. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from the first year of high school in Swedish and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also become relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will take place. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
