We are now looking for more Security and Duty Operators to our SOS center in Sundsvall.

Your everyday life as an SOS operator

"One of the most fun things about this job is that no day is the same as the other." In the role of SOS operator within Security and Duty Services, you handle and respond to incoming calls regarding various types of fault reports for properties, municipalities, and private customers. Additionally, it includes receiving and addressing various types of alarms, such as burglary/assault and operational alarms, etc. It is an exciting and developing job.

The work is often conducted at a high pace, and those seeking help are always the focus. The work is carried out at the SOS center in Sundsvall where you sit in an open environment together with colleagues. As an SOS operator, you have a round-the-clock position with the opportunity to influence your own schedule.

We are looking for you You enjoy helping other people - that is the most important thing! We assume that you always want to help the caller and handle the conversation from start to finish. You are secure in yourself, flexible, and decisive regardless of which call you are handling. The role involves collaboration with colleagues and external actors, which requires good teamwork skills. You are a friendly, fearless, and attentive person who finds it easy to talk to people. Furthermore, you are empathetic and professional while collaborating and taking responsibility in your professional role. 

Since SOS Alarm's operations are conducted 24/7, as an SOS operator, you have a round-the-clock position, which means you work days/evenings/nights and weekends. This means that you cannot choose to work only days, evenings, or nights, as all shifts occur.

We see that you...

• Have at least three years of work experience, preferably with telephone experience
• Speak and write Swedish fluently and are comfortable taking calls in English
• Have good computer skills and enjoy working in various and complex systems
• Have good multitasking ability as the work requires you to handle several tasks at the same time

SOS Alarm conducts background checks and security assessments with register checks on its staff according to the requirements of the Security Protection Act (2018:585). A check according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies is also performed and is active during the employment period. A drug test with no remarks is a prerequisite for employment. The position also involves military placement at SOS Alarm.
