We are looking for a construction manager with a focus on quantity regulation and measurement technology for the Ostlänken program within the Swedish Transport Administration.

This is a consulting assignment. The stationing location is Norrköping.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The construction manager in quantity regulation and measurement technology is responsible for following up and ensuring that contracts, drawings, and applicable requirements are adhered to during the execution of contracts. The role involves working closely with project management during the planning and production phases, focusing on measurement, quantity regulation, quality, economy, and technical follow-up. The work also includes coordination, control of measurements, and support in decisions regarding production technical issues.

Responsibilities

Lead and follow up the project's work with quantity regulation in EKU.

Contribute to the budgeting process for the organization by participating in cost reconciliations before forecasts.

Prepare documentation for climate calculations related to quantity extraction.

Check drawings and other documents and compare/control on-site. Ensure that the assigned contract is executed in accordance with the contract, drawings, and other documents.

Insar, satellite measurement.

Lead and follow up the measurement of various types of network such as construction network tunnel and follow up on GYRO measurement.

Lead and follow up geotechnical control programs, the client's control of environmental impact, and follow-up of the contractor's control programs.

Follow up on various types of quality controls, for example, control programs for tunnels and bridges Equis, follow-up of environmental impact, such as flow measurement and settlement control.

Work on the development of visual 3D production follow-up.

Conduct drone flights including ensuring that necessary permits are obtained and maintained.

Monitor documentation for management.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Degree from a technical university of at least 180 credits (120 points) with a focus on measurement technology or equivalent competence acquired through other education and experience deemed equivalent by the client.

Verified knowledge of AMA, AB, ABT, and ABK. (Training in the regulations ABK09, AB04, and ABT06)

Measurement technical authorization Swedish Transport Administration Class 1. Documented experience of 3D CAD/BIM

Documented knowledge of SBG GEO and Topocad CV

Good language skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written.

Driver's license B is required for the assignment.

Meritorious

You have experience working independently responsible for the client's organization’s work with MSS in production in railway and/or road environments.

You demonstrate strong qualities that contribute to the successful completion of the assignment.

Other Qualities

Self-driven and takes responsibility for their tasks while having good teamwork skills; can communicate and be receptive.

Ability to communicate and maintain a good dialogue with authorities, consultants, and colleagues in long-term relationships.

Good ability to use IT tools, including Microsoft Office.
