The Challenge Do you want to help shape the construction projects of the future? YLAB is looking for a driven Site Manager who wants to make a difference in commercial construction projects together with a dedicated and close-knit team. Here you will have a key role where you combine technical knowledge with coordination, structure, and personal responsibility.

Job Responsibilities

As a Site Manager at YLAB, you will play a key role in driving production forward. You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, ensuring that materials are in place, following the schedule, leading construction meetings, managing risk assessments, and monitoring production against budget and quality.

You will work closely with the site manager, project manager, and project engineer, all of whom are part of your project team.

To provide you with the best possible conditions, YLAB offers a thorough introduction at both the head office in Jönköping and in Hultseryd - a clear pathway into the role where you will receive support from experienced colleagues.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about construction and production and thrives in a coordinating and responsible role. You are collaborative, unpretentious, and communicative with the ability to manage many points of contact. You work in a structured manner, take initiative, are flexible and solution-oriented, and are confident in leading meetings and driving your work independently forward.

We also see that you have the following qualifications...

  • University degree/relevant work experience in construction technology or a related field

  • Driver's license (B)

  • Good Swedish and English skills in both speech and writing

Meritorious if...

  • BAS P/U training (otherwise training will be offered)

  • Experience with larger industrial projects or collaboration with technical installers

Location: Southern/Central Sweden

In the role of site manager, travel and overnight stays may occur.
