About the position

Akustikkonsulten is a group of 18 (soon 19!) dedicated experts who love what they do. The company was founded 10 years ago by colleagues who wanted to create something of their own, and since then, they have experienced steady growth. Akustikkonsulten has offices in Stockholm, Linköping, and Norrköping and stands out in the industry by investing heavily in maintaining high competence in what they do. As an acoustics consultant in Norrköping, you will step into a varied everyday life with a focus on building acoustics. The role is perfect for you who enjoy the combination of building technology, sound, and problem-solving. Initially, the focus is heavily on practical measurements in the field, so you can learn the craft from the ground up. As you become more comfortable, you will move towards more complex calculations, consultations, and even the role of project leader.

The work can sometimes be physically demanding with measurement equipment that needs to be handled in the field.

Job tasks

This role involves performing sound measurements, reporting, customer contacts, and consulting within building acoustics. You will be involved in projects from start to finish, often in close collaboration with colleagues. Your tasks include:

• Performing and evaluating measurements in acoustics
• Working with design and calculations in acoustics
• Managing customer contacts and acting consultatively
• Preparing documentation and technical reports for clients
• Conducting building acoustic calculations and consultations

We are looking for someone who

• Is in their final semester or has a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering
• Has a strong interest in sound and music
• Has excellent knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Has the ability to handle physical work with measurement equipment
• Has a B driver's license

It is advantageous if you have

• A degree with a focus on acoustics or building technology
• Experience from the construction industry
• Knowledge of building acoustics
