Attendo Mejerigatan is a nursing home with its own garden, centrally located in Vellinge. It is a modern and pleasant residence with bright apartments. The inviting common areas promote social interaction. With a focus on wellness for both body and mind, this lifestyle residence emphasizes Sport and Spa.

Attendo Mejerigatan is both a dementia care facility and a somatic nursing home with a total of 54 apartments spread over three floors, with nine apartments in each unit.

Mejerigatan operates based on Attendo's dementia compass, which includes BPSD, ASCOT, and next of kin representatives. We are also rated highly in dementia care.

Job Description

At Mejerigatan, we have two full-time nurses, each responsible for three departments with a total of 27 patients. The nurses share an office and work closely together. As a nurse, you will be part of our local management team along with the operations manager, group leaders, and elderly pedagogues.

Experience in elderly care is an advantage.

  • Working hours during the day, including public holidays

We are looking for a licensed nurse with professional experience and an interest in elderly care. As a person, you are responsible, independent, and humble with the ability to prioritize. You enjoy mentoring and delegating tasks to care staff in health and medical duties and are motivated to create high-quality care for our residents together with your colleagues.

At Mejerigatan, you will have a varied job where you work long-term with health plans to enhance the quality of life for the residents, and you will make assessments and decisions in acute situations. Your responsibilities also include providing good palliative care. The transition to Close Care means that more and more specialized healthcare interventions are taking place in the residence. This offers you a variety of stimulating and developing tasks. The work is independent while you have access to many competent colleagues in our nursing networks.

About the recruitment process

Before potential employment, a criminal record extract along with valid photo ID must be presented. If you are called for an interview, you need to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
