We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager for an authority within traffic.

This is a consulting assignment. The stationing location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The project engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, preparation, and execution of rock and construction contracts within a complex infrastructure project. The role involves working closely with project management and specialists, as well as handling administrative, technical, and financial issues. The focus is on follow-up, structure, quality and risk management, and ensuring effective coordination between the various stakeholders in the project.

Responsibilities

Assist the project manager/project director in ensuring that the project's quality and risk management is carried out according to applicable guidelines.

If necessary, develop and implement new routines in the operations related to business management and follow-up.

Support the project controller in the preparation and reporting of forecasts and reports for time, finance, and risk.

Administer supplier invoices.

Follow up and ensure the quality of the project's handling of registered matters.

If necessary, support the sustainability officer with follow-up on sustainability work.

Support the project's employees and help create structure in document management.

Assist the project manager/project director and design manager in steering and following up suppliers and stakeholders, e.g., planning, conducting, and documenting meetings.

Assist the project manager/project director in the overall planning of the project's activities.

Drive risk and opportunity work within the sub-project according to applicable guidelines.

Drive the development of the client's control program and assist the project manager in following up on the work during the execution of the contract.

If necessary, participate in construction and finance meetings.

Contribute to creating good relationships with suppliers.

Contribute to creating good relationships with external stakeholders (neighbors, stakeholders, the public, etc.).

Participate in internal meetings and gatherings.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

University degree in construction and civil engineering or economics.

Documented work experience in budgeting and forecasting, quality management, and risk management in projects (at least 1 contract).

Documented work experience as a project engineer or equivalent role in construction and civil engineering projects (for at least 3 years).

Documented work experience in carrying out contracts where the systems Construction AMA and MER have been used (at least 1 contract).

Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

Documented work experience as a project engineer or equivalent role in construction and civil engineering projects with a contract sum >200MSEK (for at least 2 years).

Documented work experience in a corresponding role (project engineer) in a client organization for a contract with a contract sum of more than 100 million SEK.

Documented experience of studies or work internationally, primarily using English as the spoken and written language (at least 6 months).
