Project Manager for Telecommunication Systems and ITV Job Responsibilities

At our Technical Systems section, we work on operation and maintenance projects related to technical installations in road infrastructure in the Stockholm area within the technical fields: Control Systems, Telecommunication Systems, and Traffic Equipment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with complex technical systems in some of Sweden's most important road facilities. As a project manager, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and following up on projects related to telecommunication systems and technical safety systems in road infrastructure.

Your work will include conducting preventive and corrective maintenance as well as reinvestments and improvements in areas such as:

• safety systems such as cameras (ITV), locking and access systems, and PA systems for tunnels and surveillance servers
• technical IT solutions for traffic monitoring and control
• upgrades of monitoring and safety systems

You will lead and manage large contracting agreements from planning to execution and follow-up. You will work closely with project engineers, construction managers, and technical specialists, representing the Swedish Transport Administration in dialogue with contractors, suppliers, and other authorities.

In this role, you will among other things:

• plan, budget, and conduct procurements for your own operations
• follow up on project timelines, costs, and content
• coordinate contractors, consultants, and internal resources
• work proactively with risk, safety, and work environment
• contribute to the development and improvement of working methods and technical solutions

We are looking for a driven and analytical project manager with the ability to drive projects forward in complex environments. You build trust in collaborations and communicate easily with various types of stakeholders, from technical specialists to contractors and authorities. You work in a structured manner, are solution-oriented, and have a clear focus on quality and results.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a university or college degree of at least 180 credits (120 ECTS) with a technical focus, or other education combined with relevant work experience that we assess as equivalent
• current and relevant experience from contracting operations as a client, consultant, or contractor
• several years of current and relevant experience in project management or equivalent leading role within technical systems or installations in infrastructure or technical facilities
• a valid driver's license for passenger cars
• good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• good knowledge of English in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you also have experience working with:

• telecommunication systems, access systems, and/or ITV within infrastructure, construction, or property
• procurements and contracts according to LOU and AB/ABT
• negotiation and contract management
