JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for new colleagues to our team at Skålmogården.

As a nursing assistant, you will work with care and support tasks for the residents every day. We also work on business development with, for example, quality councils and activity councils.

Your mission is to make each day as good as possible for those who live with us as well as for your colleagues. We are each other's working environment in our residents' homes.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in the elderly, where your main tasks are to provide safe and secure personal care and support. You support the elderly in their daily lives and create conditions for a safe and meaningful everyday life. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing users with good care and support of high quality in accordance with what has been agreed with the user in the implementation plan.

This includes, among other things:

• Personal care and support.
• Utilizing the user's own resources.
• Activation and social interaction with users as well as outdoor activities.
• Serving meals.
• Laundry and cleaning in the user's apartment.
• Documentation according to SoL.
• Medication delegation.
• Cooperate with nurses (e.g., for wound dressing).

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a nursing assistant education or other equivalent education or experience. We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience working in similar operations. Additionally, it is important that you can handle digital journal systems and that you have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish. It is an advantage if you have further education in areas such as dementia care, palliative care, or care for the multi-sick elderly.

To thrive with us, it is a prerequisite that you enjoy working with people. The position requires that you can independently plan your work to meet the needs of our residents. We are looking for someone with a professional approach characterized by good treatment and respect for the individual. The job requires flexibility, initiative, teamwork skills, and problem-solving abilities.
