About us

Engsholms Slott is a family-owned hotel that has been run by the same owners for over 40 years. We are beautifully located at the northern tip of Mörkö and offer 54 hotel rooms with approximately 100 beds – a place where conferences, events, weddings, and weekend stays create memorable experiences.

About the role

As the Operational Booking Manager & Commercial Manager, you will have a central role in the business. You will lead the booking department and work both operationally and strategically with sales, planning, and execution.

You will be responsible for the entire chain – from the first contact to follow-up – for both B2B and B2C customers.

Your main responsibilities

• Manage conference, event, wedding, and private bookings
• Quote, follow up, and close deals
• Plan, package, and detail arrangements
• Actively work with upselling and customer development
• Conduct viewings and sales activities
• Work with pricing strategy and follow-up in booking systems
• Optimize external booking channels (OTAs)
• Administration in Visbook and BookVisit
• Invoicing and follow-up
• Scheduling and planning
• Work in reception as needed (check-in and check-out)
• Collaborate closely with other departments
• Statistics, analysis, and follow-up

You will also work in systems such as Office 365, GetAccept, and Canva.

About the position

• Permanent employment, 100%
• Work takes place on-site (no remote work)
• Weekend work may occur
• The reception is staffed from 07:00 to 19:00
• You will be part of a small team (2 people)
• Close collaboration with the CEO and owner

The work can be intense with a high pace at times, while the winter season is calmer.

We are looking for someone who

• Has several years of experience in a similar role within hotels or the tourism industry
• Has good knowledge of booking and hotel systems (merit: Visbook & BookVisit)
• Is structured, meticulous, and has a high capacity for multitasking
• Is business-driven and results-oriented
• Has a strong customer focus and is passionate about hospitality
• Is solution-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Has good communication skills in both spoken and written form
• Can lead 1–2 people
• Has an understanding of revenue management

Knowledge of social media, websites, and image management is a merit.
