Are you a self-driven chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment with high volumes and large kitchen spaces? Then you could become an important part of Granpark, Scania's largest restaurant, where we serve approximately 1400 lunches daily between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

With us, it’s full speed from the very beginning - the majority of guests arrive during the first hour, making structure, mise en place, and following directives crucial. You will work in large premises with many guests, both in the buffet and in our Foodcourt where we serve two à la carte dishes.

• Good teamwork skills, as everyone in the team is active during service
• Language skills in Swedish and English to communicate clearly with colleagues and guests

Our lunch buffet consists of two traditional dishes, a vegetarian option, soup, and a weight-based deli buffet as well as à la carte in our Foodcourt corner.

We are also present at Scania's larger staff events, such as Scaniamilen.

You will be part of a team of 14 colleagues and report to the head chef. Working hours are Monday to Friday during the day, but occasional evening and weekend shifts may occur during larger events.

Who are we looking for?

In addition to cooking, the role includes daily work with self-control, having good knowledge of allergens and being able to account for all ingredients, ordering and receiving goods, as well as waste management. You will also assist with inventory.

Everyone in the unit is collectively helpful in the dining room by answering questions from guests, and some cashier duties may occur.

Who are you?

• You are over 18 years old
• You have education in hotel and restaurant management with a focus on cooking or equivalent
• You have previous experience in restaurant work
• You have the ability to plan and structure work effectively
• You take responsibility through your passion to maintain a high level of service and quality in what you deliver
• You recognize your importance in satisfied guests, are positive, stress-resistant, and have an easy time collaborating and communicating
• You can take your own initiatives and are flexible in your professional role
• You speak and write Swedish
