Watersheds is recruiting for Glass på Hörnet in Vaxholm, and you will be directly employed by the client in Vaxholm.

Perfect – we are looking for an ice cream master for Glass på Hörnet in Vaxholm.

Here you will work behind the scenes and create the delightful gelato that the wonderful ice cream team serves to happy guests. It is a physical job where you lift heavy bags, boxes, and ice cream tubs, mix delicious flavors, and ensure that the products maintain the highest quality – every hour, every day... and you love the challenge!

POSITION Ice Cream Master WORK HOURS/SALARY/PERIOD You will work as an Ice Cream Master for 6-9 hours a day with a lot of freedom once you understand your responsibilities. Opportunity to work extra. Start is in May, and the team needs you until the end of August, possibly longer. There are not many opportunities to take time off (other than your two days/week during peak season). Salary according to agreement. We prefer that you live in the nearby area with a maximum 30-minute commute.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for...

• making the day's ice cream from scratch – recipes, mixing, freezing, quality testing (and yes, you can taste as much as you want!).

• keeping the kitchen and machines sparkling clean – hygiene is A and O.

• maintaining meticulous order and tidiness – the space is quite small.

• managing your working hours so that ice cream is always stocked in all freezers, but when it is full, you can take a break as part of our team – freedom under responsibility applies here!

Your work does not involve direct guest interactions, no sales, or serving – just making ice cream, ice cream, ice cream!

WHO WOULD LOVE TO BE AN ICE CREAM MASTER? We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and enjoys physical work, and lives in Vaxholm or the surrounding area. You have an exceptional work ethic and see it as natural to take responsibility and be present when needed. You enjoy working independently but also know that you are an important part of the team. Order and cleanliness are a given for you, and you have a natural understanding of the importance of hygiene. Additionally, you see it as a bonus to lift 25-kilogram bags of sugar – “perfect, workout at work!”

You are a hard worker with an organized streak – you follow recipes carefully and ensure that the machines are maintained as they should. If you also have experience in kitchens, bakeries, or food production, it is a plus.
