Spring is here and we are now looking for a head chef for Nybrogatan 38!

In the heart of Stockholm, right in Östermalm, lies Nybrogatan 38, named after the address it is located at. Here we serve classic Swedish home-cooked meals and Mediterranean-inspired dishes at reasonable prices with high quality! Our goal is to be the best local neighborhood restaurant for both guests and staff.

With our extensive opening hours, we reach out to most by serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner on weekdays. And on weekends, we deliver one of Stockholm's most popular brunches during the day. Our newly built bar serves as an extension of the dining room. Here you can have a drink, eat something smaller, or go all out and have a full dinner.

We are an experienced team that constantly works to provide guests with the best possible experience. We always strive to improve what we do, while also taking care of and nurturing what we have.

The job:

As head chef, you are the highest authority in the kitchen, responsible for your tasks and what your kitchen staff does on a daily basis.

Attributes you need to succeed include strong leadership skills, good communication abilities, and experience in managing staff.

Creativity and a strong interest in food and drink, the ability to understand the restaurant's concept, and appreciate good hospitality.

Constantly solution-oriented and stress-resistant, being a joy-spreader, good financial understanding for cost control, and working towards continuous financial improvement.
