About the Position

We are now looking for cooks and kitchen assistants for summer 2026, with a strong interest in food, primarily traditional Swedish cuisine, who can work with us when regular staff are absent. You are creative and forward-thinking with a burning interest in refining high-quality ingredients, which you do under the guidance and in collaboration with our Head Chef, cooks, and kitchen assistants. With us, we prepare most of the food from scratch. We work with the food data system Matilda, and it is an advantage if you have knowledge of the system.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with documented experience working in large kitchens for a few years. You should also have a genuine interest in working with our elderly. You can take responsibility, are self-sufficient, can handle stress, and are willing to learn and think outside the box while being part of a larger context where collaboration is a key factor. You are flexible and understand that all tasks, big or small, are equally important in a larger context. You are expected to have a well-developed sense of service and to be a social, cheerful, and positive person. Knowledge and experience in preparing special and allergy diets are advantageous. It is important for safety reasons that you can read, write, and speak Swedish correctly. Computer skills for reading/writing emails and searching for information online are required.

We want you to have experience with meals in elderly care and have previously worked with similar tasks. It is highly advantageous if you have training in food hygiene and practical experience in this area. You should have experience using modern and technical equipment in large kitchens.

Working hours are during the day, and every other weekend.
