The role of Food Truck Manager and Chef

You will be responsible for ensuring that the food truck delivers our world-class wraps and our new dishes, such as fantastic Indian tacos and tandoori grilled chicken, launching in 2026. Your tasks include cooking, sales during lunches, events, and catering.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare everything from scratch, curry stews, various types of marinades and sauces.
• Cooking and Preparation: Prepare food according to recipes and hygiene standards, as well as purchasing and planning bookings.
• Customer Service: Provide a professional and welcoming attitude, handle orders and payments.
• Stock and Cleaning: Responsible for restocking goods, cleaning, and basic maintenance of the food truck.
• Deliveries: Perform weekly deliveries of goods and load and unload items.
• Cash Management and Booking System: Manage the cash register and booking system.

Personal Qualities

• Service-oriented with a focus on the guest's experience.
• Structured, flexible, and self-driven.
• Good problem-solving skills and communicative in collaborations.

Requirements

• Understand and be understood in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Nepali.
• Experience in Indian cooking and Tandoor (Indian grill oven).
• Knowledge of baking and the ability to bake from scratch is a plus.
• Completed training in India or have a diploma in Indian cuisine.

Meritorious: Experience with food trucks and customer service, knowledge of South Indian cuisine is a plus.

Working Conditions

• Varied working hours focusing on lunch, events, and weekly deliveries.
• General fixed-term employment starting March 1 to August 30, 2026, with a chance for extension.
• Location: Based in Stockholm but may involve longer assignments elsewhere in Sweden.
