About the business
Our business area Production is responsible for the ongoing operation and maintenance as well as optimization and development of all energy production within Öresundskraft (Helsingborg and Ängelholm). Within the operations department in Ängelholm, where this role is located, we are 14 people responsible for the ongoing operation of district heating production at Åkerslundsverket's four boilers (Return wood and Forest chips combustion as well as Bio-oil). We work in shift teams, around the clock - year-round. We are in an exciting period with several ongoing projects where we are constantly modernizing and developing our facility.

About the position
In the role of Operations Technician, you will be part of a shift team responsible for operation, monitoring, and problem-solving. We work 6-shift with standby every twelfth week. The operational processes are many; everything from fuel handling/injection and operation/monitoring of our various combustion boilers with associated flue gas cleaning, to optimizing levels in the accumulator tank. We also control pumping/pressurization of Ängelholm's entire district heating network. The operation is run and monitored using our specially adapted control system (800xA from ABB), and your and the team's task is to continuously monitor, control, and optimize (including starting/stopping) production and to handle various types of operational disturbances and alarms. As an Operations Technician, you also perform regular rounds within the facility, and you analyze, address, and document in our maintenance and case management systems (Idus, Wistbo, PDM, and M-files). The work is done in close collaboration with your operations colleagues, maintenance technicians, standby groups, and external partners.

As an Operations Technician, you are the "spider in the web". You are involved and ensure that routines and processes are followed in connection with maintenance work. Conduct risk analyses, prepare, and plan according to our work environment and safety routines (e.g.: Hot work).

About you
We believe you have a post-secondary education, preferably with a specialization in operations or process technology. You have probably worked in a similar role with operational monitoring, process control, problem-solving, and are used to quickly gaining a comprehensive view and understanding complex process technology connections. You may have worked in the energy industry/energy production, but we have good opportunities to provide you with the training and knowledge you need. If you are genuinely interested in process control, operations, and process technology, you are exactly the person we are looking for.

As a person, you are open and engaged. You work in a structured manner and have a natural interest in details. We place great value on your ability to collaborate, but you also need to enjoy taking responsibility where sometimes quick and decisive decisions need to be made. We expect you to have very good computer skills, a driver's license, and that you master Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
