Solna City's contact center is the workplace for you who want to make a difference in people's everyday lives. The contact center is the first point of contact for Solna City, and we meet citizens both via phone, email, and receive visits at the city hall reception.

What Does the Job Involve?

We work on behalf of the city's administrations and aim to relieve them by answering the questions that citizens and businesses have for the city.

At the contact center, we value good service spirit, engagement, and flexibility to create job satisfaction and achieve results. You should enjoy working in a team, have your own drive, and be unpretentious.

The role requires a high level of service and solution focus. You will work daily with various contacts, mainly by phone but also via email and in many different operational systems.

To succeed in the role, general knowledge and a strong interest in problem-solving are important. You are an ambassador for Solna with the ability to process and handle a lot of information across different communication channels. You are well-informed and updated on the latest information, which you summarize in a simple way to guide our citizens seeking contact, whether in Swedish or English.

You will face new questions, meetings, and challenges daily that require attentiveness and a relationship-building approach. You are proactive, curious, solution-oriented, and have good judgment and a positive attitude. You are meticulous in ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and work in a structured manner with clear routines.

Meritorious for the Position:

• Ongoing or completed studies in a relevant university program, such as political science or communication.
• Experience working in a municipality.
• Experience working in a contact center for a municipality or other authority or equivalent service work.
• Experience working in phone switchboard.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities in this recruitment.

More Information About the Application

We offer summer jobs during weeks 24-32. You must be able to work full-time during all weeks, and there may be opportunities for work in additional weeks. For the right person, we offer continued hourly employment and extra work as needed in the fall.
