Odinslund specializes in dementia and somatic care and consists of 46 apartments. The apartments are distributed across 6 living units. The residence is beautifully located in the middle of Djursholm Square and has good transport links from Mörby Centrum. The residence is close to beautiful walking paths along the water and large terraces.

The operation is characterized by good competence within the various professional categories. All staff work from a rehabilitation/supportive approach where the goal is to see each resident as an individual and take into account their physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. Our goal is to provide good individualized care and stimulation, with competent staff who cater to interests and needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of care assistant with us, you provide residents with a meaningful everyday life by offering personal care, support, and social activation. Based on routines, implementation plans, and life stories, we ensure that each resident's individual needs are met. Additionally, you are an important piece in supporting and motivating the elderly, creating security, and maintaining contact with relatives. With us, we work together, and you will collaborate with other professionals to offer our residents the best possible experience.

You will also assist and provide support with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, meal situations, as well as social activities and outdoor excursions. Furthermore, you will perform tasks that are part of the daily operations of the facility, such as laundry, cleaning, and kitchen work. Daily work also includes social documentation to ensure good quality and safe care, as well as reporting according to applicable laws and digital systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained care assistant with a protected professional title.
• Has several years of experience working in a care and nursing home.
• Has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Has good IT skills and is accustomed to handling digital systems.

Experience working with dementia is an advantage.

As a care assistant, you have a strong commitment to people and a positive outlook. You adapt your behavior to the situation, are considerate, and show care for our care recipients. You convey calm and security and can meet people in various situations in a professional manner. You have the ability and understand the importance of being attentive to our care recipients' needs and have a good approach. You understand the importance of and work in a structured manner and feel secure in prioritizing tasks and have the ability to make independent decisions. You are engaged in your work with good collaboration skills and can work both independently and in a group. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
