The Technical & Leisure Administration, Street/Park Department is seeking a site manager for construction work.

The mission of the Street/Park Department concerns the municipality's infrastructure, construction, street operations, and parks, etc. The department consists of about 50 employees distributed across administration, production, construction, street operations, and parks.

Responsibilities

As a site manager for construction, you will work together with staff in the department on new construction and maintenance, renovation of the municipality's public environment such as streets, pedestrian and bicycle paths, water and sewage, stormwater, and more. This can involve both small projects and large development areas.

You will have contact with and lead both your own staff in the unit and contractors in all areas. You also collaborate with clients, project managers, and to some extent, designers. You will be Bas-U for the projects you manage.

You enjoy working on multiple issues simultaneously, and during certain periods the work is more intense, so it is important to be able to prioritize your work. Short- and long-term planning within projects is also important. You need to plan your work both independently and together with colleagues. You participate in the development within your area of responsibility. Quality awareness is central. GPS measurement is part of the profession.

On-call duty is included in the position.

Qualifications and Experience

You have relevant education and experience with a focus on construction/road and water. Alternatively, you have equivalent competence acquired through work experience. Previous work in public operations with a focus on construction and planning tools is an advantage. You have computer skills and can handle the Office suite. As a person, you are engaged, service-oriented, resourceful, and driven, can work independently, and have good problem-solving skills. You are a collaborative and responsible team player who enjoys working both outdoors and in the office. You express yourself well in both speech and writing. A driver's license (B) is required for the position. Knowledge of measurement technology is an advantage.

It is also an advantage to have completed work environment coordinator training Bas-P and Bas-U, as well as work on road courses 1 to 3 and have worked with construction work within water and sewage.
