Your new job

As a design engineer in the water and wastewater sector, you play a key role in the management, renewal, and development of our water supply network.

Your contribution is crucial for us to deliver drinking water and manage wastewater and stormwater sustainably – we are building for at least the next 100 years.

In this role, you will work both independently and closely with your colleagues in the water department. You will also have contact with other internal and external stakeholders. As our municipality and our network are in constant development, the position offers many opportunities to deepen your skills and grow in your professional role.

Your tasks

• Detail design for the renewal of existing water systems and new installations in development areas.
• Create drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Prepare tender documents.
• Act as the project manager for safety and prepare work environment plans.
• Dimension water pipelines.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who is self-sufficient and stable, with a clear goal and results-oriented approach. You work in a structured manner and have the ability to collaborate well with others. Your specialist knowledge is combined with a strong analytical and problem-solving ability, allowing you to quickly grasp complex issues and drive the work forward in a professional manner.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree in civil engineering or equivalent education/experience in water and wastewater engineering.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D/Novapoint.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Driver's license (B).

Meritorious:

• Experience with AMA Anläggning.
• Experience with procurement according to LUF.
• Experience with ESRI products such as ArcGIS/ArcMap.

The recruitment is for a permanent full-time position (100%) starting by agreement. Interviews will be conducted after the application period ends.
