Do you want to contribute to a sustainable and pleasant environment in the municipality's properties? We are now looking for a carpenter for the technical office.

The technical office is responsible for a wide range of activities including property management, street-park, development, and planning. As a carpenter, you will work in the property department alongside four carpenters and two painters. The department is responsible for new construction and renovations as well as the operation and maintenance of the municipality's properties, covering approximately 220,000 square meters.

As a carpenter with us, you will start from one location and drive out to the relevant workplaces. The tasks are varied and include both larger projects and several smaller assignments. Since the work takes place in different operations, it is important that you are attentive, flexible, and have a professional demeanor.

The role includes repairs, renovations, and general service in municipal properties. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues and supervisors and is performed according to applicable laws and guidelines.

We are looking for someone with knowledge of legislation and regulations in construction, experience working with mobile work platforms and scaffolding, and familiarity with using fall protection and personal protective equipment.

You work in a structured, quality-conscious manner and see opportunities for improvements. Good collaboration skills and an attentive way of communicating are important parts of the job.

Qualifications

• 3-year upper secondary education in the construction program or equivalent education.
• Experience from the construction sector is required, for example in carpentry, concrete, and masonry work.
• A driving license (B) is required.
• We emphasize personal qualities.
